About

Family Owned & Operated

We are a San Diego based family owned and operated company with no commissioned sales people. The money we save by operating in this manner helps us keep our overhead low and ensures that our customers receive the highest level of value and quality.

For over three decades, San Diego Pools has built a reputation of transforming customer dreams into reality with innovative design and construction, a fact supported our numerous local, state and national awards.

We take pride in our work

At San Diego Pools, we work hard to incorporate natural boulders and waterfalls, eye-popping ultra-modern designs, and illusions such as our famous “0” edge pool. Always  keeping budget and timing in mind.

San Diego Pools began building “custom” to “ultra-custom” pools in the San Diego area when the only alternative was assembly-line-style construction. We pride ourselves in clearly understanding our client’s personal and environmental needs and ensure all challenges and potential problems are considered before construction begins.

Experience matters when you are building a pool

Our style of pool building creates an environment for recreation, entertainment, relaxation, beauty and reliability. Our Pools are always within budget, on time and we do not cut corners or sacrifice quality. It is our commitment to our customer and our intricate detailing and quality craftsmanship that has led San Diego Pools to creating and constructing award winning designs.

Mike was able to travel  to several countries in Europe, Mexico and his second home Costa Rica. In 2010, Mike stopped building in Costa Rica and returned to San Diego. Mike then  joined Ken again at San Diego Pools.
